The Company

Express Cruisers Ltd was founded in 1983 specifically to handle the marketing and distribution of the Windy Boats range in the UK. In 1997 the company became part of the Berthon group, one of the UK’s longest established and most highly-respected boating companies.

Located in Lymington, Berthon’s ‘big blue’ sheds offer unrivalled preparation, painting, engineering, shipwright, plumbing and electrical services. This unique service facility is also linked to a modern 300-berth marina and large ashore storage areas. Purchasing a Windy from Berthon group means that you can relax in the knowledge that your investment is secure and that the company has all the necessary infrastructure and facilities to provide the level of service you would expect when purchasing such a high quality product as a Windy.

With over 25 years association with Windy Boats, the company has tremendous depth of knowledge made even stronger by regular factory visits. Potential and existing customers are encouraged to visit the factory and should you wish to see your new Windy in build we would be delighted to arrange it. Berthon are also distributors for Windy Boats for the whole of France and are able to offer both new and used boat sales, berthing, guardiannage and full after sales support through their Golfe Juan office. Located approximately 30 minutes drive from Nice airport with regular daily flights from most UK airports, Golfe Juan makes the ideal base for boating in the south of France.

Andrew Constance heads the Windy operation and has been working with Windy in Norway for over 25 years.

Ben Toogood works closely alongside Andrew and is responsible for brokerage and new boat sales throughout the UK. He has been with Berthon from 2006 and transferred from our motor yacht department in early 2007.

Nick Webb our service support Manager has worked with Windy boats for over 20 years and has handed over new boats both in the UK and throughout Europe. He has tremendous depth of knowledge of the brand and is the first point of contact for any after sales queries or technical information required.

Sarah Rampley is at the heart of our operational activities liaising between sales and the service department as well as organising the importation of all new Windys. She is also responsible for spare parts sales and all aspects of administration.
